MISI
Peraturan Pemerintah No. 72 Tahun 2014 tentang Penambahan Penyertaan Modal Negara Republik Indonesia ke dalam Modal Saham Perusahaan Perseroan PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (PTPN III) dimana terjadinya pengalihan 90% saham milik pemerintah diatas PTPN tersebut menjadi 10%
PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Holding Perkebunan pada tahun 2018 mempunyai karyawan sebanyak 115.618 orang yang terdiri dari 6.264 orang karyawan pimpinan dan 109.354 orang karyawan pelaksana.
Total luas areal yang dimiliki oleh PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Holding Perkebunan adalah 1.181.751,03 Ha dengan status pengusahaan lahan sekitar 68% sudah bersertifikat, 20% sertifikat berakhir/dalam proses perpanjangan dan 12% belum bersertifikat. Sedangkan total planted area yang dimiliki PTPN sebesar 817.536 Hektar yang terdiri dari komoditi kelapa sawit, karet, teh, tebu, kopi, kakao, tembakau, kayu dan hortikultura. Selain itu guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat sekitar PTPN juga memiliki areal kebun plasma seluas 457.794 Hektar.
